A Teacher's Heartbeat

A Teacher’s Heart;

The one often crushed

The one often missed

Never one to brag, always hushed

A punching bag for many angry fists

The teacher who loves and cares for ever child

Caring, helpful and fun always kind

Even when they are so wild

With a smile you never seem to mind.

Thank you for your heart

The unique teacher’s kind

God’s diverse piece of art

The heart that is so hard to find

Your heart: an embossed fountain

The one that taught us more;

How to defeat a mountain

Without a single flaw

Because The Architect made a mould

                                              The one that you filled

It certainly can’t be bought or sold

Because what He sees makes Him thrilled.

You heart will be painfully missed

Although now you flow elsewhere

What you instilled will always remain

Thank you so much Mrs. Patty Thompson.
